UST tops June 2017 architecture boards

The University was named as the sole top performing school in the June 2017 architecture licensure examination, with one Thomasian landing in the top ten.
UST posted an 83. 26 percent passing rate, in which 184 out of 221 Thomasian examinees passed the exam.
This was an increase from last year’s 75. 13 percent, wherein 145 out of 193 examinees made the cut.
Carmela Dawn Linarez was the only Thomasian in the top ten highest scorers, placing seventh with a score of 82. 40 percent.
Moreover, Jefferson Ventura of Saint Louis University led the new batch of future architects with a score of 84. 70 percent.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 1, 490 out of 2, 679 passed the board exam nationwide.
