UST scores 100 percent in electronics technician exam, improves in electronics eng’g boards

The University garnered a perfect passing rate in the October 2017 licensure exam for electronics technicians, with all 78 Thomasian examinees making the cut.

UST was named top performing school along with the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas, with all its 52 examinees passing the exam.

2,916 out of 3,258 examinees nationwide passed the exam for electronics technician.

Moreover, the University was named the third best performing school in the electronics engineering board exam after garnering an 81.51 percent passing rate or 97 out of 119 Thomasian examinees passed. This was an improvement from last year’s 74.66 percent or 115 out of 154 examinees.

Erwin Cabrera was the lone Thomasian who made the list of ten highest scorers, placing third with a score of 92.30 percent.

Dino Dominic Ligutan of De La Salle University led the new batch of electronics engineer after obtaining a score of 94.40 percent.

University of the Philippines-Diliman was named the best performing school in the said exam after garnering 98.33 percent passing rate.

2,235 out of 4,784 examinees nationwide made the cut in the board exam.
