UST records perfect passing rate in March 2023 LET elementary level; ranks fourth in secondary

The University was hailed as the top performing school in the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) Elementary Level after posting a 100 percent passing rate.
All 52 Thomasians examinees for elementary level passed as reflected on the results released on Friday, March 19.
The University also ranked fourth for the secondary level after posting an average of 95.52 percent, with 64 passers out of 67 examinees.
From the preceding year, the University had 130 passers out of 130 examinees for secondary, ranking at third place.
For this year’s LET, there were 24,819 passers out of 60,896 examinees for the elementary level, while 48,005 passers from 102,272 examinees were recorded for the secondary level.
The passing rates for the March 2023 LET are 40.76 percent and 46.94 percent, respectively.
Six takers from different universities topped the boards for elementary, while Mirven Cabesay from University of Mindanao — Davao City secured the top spot for the secondary level.
The Professional Regulation Commission held the boards last March 19, 2023.
The teachers’ licensure examinations were conducted in the cities of Metro Manila, Antique, Bacolod, Baguio, Pangasinan, Bohol, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, Cebu, Davao, Digos, Dumaguete, Iloilo, General Santos City, Kidapawan, Koronadal, Ilocos Norte, Legazpi, Lucena, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati City, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Romblon, Pampanga, Laguna, Tacloban, Tagum, Tuguegarao, Catanduanes, and Zamboanga.
