UST Psychology Week 2023 kicks-off with workshops, advocacy campaigns

The UST Psychology Society, the department’s mother organization, was scheduled to kick-off their annual iteration of Psychology Week on Monday, Feb. 27.

This year’s installment with a theme of “IMMERSE: Psychology Week 2023,” is conducted both onsite and online, streamed live through the UST Psychology Society’s official Facebook page.

With events featuring seminars and workshops hosted by esteemed educators, psychologists and doctors, as well as an esports tournament, an advocacy campaign, and talent night, this year’s annual Psychology Week was expected to begin from Feb. 27 until Mar. 3.

The Opening Mass and Ceremony to be held in the Santisimo Rosario Parish started the week’s series of events; including the following:

  • PSYaan Ba ‘To Patungo: The Life after College
  • MuPSYeum
  • SINTA, AKO NAMAN MUNA: Pagpili, Pag- unawa, at Pagmamahal sa Sarili
  • E-Olympia
  • The PSYcret Potion: Mirrors and Strangers
  • Sikolohiyang Pilipino: Ang SAYSAY at TUGON sa mga HAMON ng PANAHON
  • Making Transitioning Back to F2F Classes Meaningful: An Empowerment Mindset
  • Mental Health Awareness Walk 2023
  • Coping Outlet
  • SOLANA: Solace through PSYning at Agham

On Friday, Mar. 3, the Psychology Week will be concluded with a concert titled “SOLANA: Solace through PSYning at Agham,” which will showcase the talents of psychology students, and up-and-coming local bands.
