UST posts 92.50% passing rate in August 2017 pharmacy boards

The University was named the second best performing school in the August 2017 licensure examination for pharmacists, with four Thomasians landing the top ten.
UST posted a 92.50 percent passing rate, in which 296 out of 320 Thomasians passed the examination.
Patricia Joyce Si led the new batch of Thomasian pharmacists, placing fourth with a score of 90.92 percent.
She was followed by fellow Thomasians Madelaine Abraham who landed fifth with 90.82 percent, Regine Li in the sixth place with 90.53 percent, and Bill Que placing seventh with a score of 90. 50 percent.
Saint Louis University was named the top performing school after garnering a 97.27 percent.
Jannylene Chua of the University of San Carlos topped this year’s board examinations, with a score of 91.10 percent.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 2, 784 out of the 5,079 examinees nationwide made the cut.
