The University posted a 57.69 percent passing rate in the October 2021 certified licensure examinations released by Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
15 out of 26 Thomasians qualified as newly licensed public accountants.
The PRC announced that 361 out of 2,367 or 15.25 percent of the examinees passed the certified public accountant licensure examination (CPALE).
No schools had qualified as top-performing schools and no examinees qualified as topnotchers this year.
The CPALE was conducted on Oct. 10–12 and held outside the National Capital Region due to the General Community Quarantine Alert Level 4 restrictions imposed in the area.
In October 2019, the University garnered a 57.32 percent passing rate or 227 out of 396 examinees. Five Thomasians, including the topnotcher, were among the top 10 passers.
