UST maintains top-performing school ranking in November 2017 nursing boards

For the third straight year, the University maintained its performance as the top-performing school in the November 2017 licensure exam for nurses, with all 300 examinees passing the test.

Veronica Louse Necor led this year’s batch of Thomasian nurses with a mark of 88.80-percent, landing second place in the roster of top 10 highest scorers. Eleven other Thomasians landed in the top 10.

Angelica Ignacio shared fifth place with Abigail Bulat Anuman from the Father Saturnino Urios University, Quenna Galicinao of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) — Batac, and Ingrid Nicolas from Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation, with the mark of 87.60-percent.

For sixth place, Erika Kitajima scored 87.40-percent along with Kristine Evangelista from the University of the Philippines (UP) — Manila.

Gerardeanne Repospar garnered seventh place along with Cherry Dominice from San Pedro College (SPC ) — Davao City, Ryan Fuentes of UP-Manila, Ma. Paz Quidlat from the Mindanao State University — Iligan Institute of Technology, and Maria Samaco of Western Mindanao State University — Zamboanga City, with the score of 87.20-percent.

Krissa Gonzales and Sevie Sagucio shared the eighth spot with Angelu Castro from MMSU — Batac, and Christian Domingo and Athena Velina of UP — Manila, garnering a score of 87.00-percent.

Dhonna Arcelona, Jaedi Garcia, Erika Lepiten, and Ciara Yumul topped ninth place with Julia Apatan and Cecilia Zerina of SPC — Davao City, Louis Cascayan and Lyca Pasion of MMSU — Batac, and UP — Manila’s Arlen Aquino, Aena Besilia, Katherine Canlas, Erika Canonizado, Fabette Lagas, Gerlene Lorque and Patricia Mayo, with the score of 86.80-percent.

Clarissa Briones and Meri-Yee Liao bagged tenth place with an 86.60-percent mark, sharing the spot with Patricia Cheng and Quennie Dizon of UP — Manila, Vince Ebuen from Bataan Peninsula State University — Balanga, Francis Palangdosan from the UP School of Health and Sciences — Leyte, and Sharielle Yanson from the Centro Escolar University — Manila.

Topping this year’s nursing boards is UP — Manila’s Raymund Mañago, who garnered a score of 89.00-percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 5,875 out of 12,869 examinees passed the Nursing Licensure Examination, slightly lower than last year’s 6,836 out of 14,322 examinees.
