UST is 2nd best performing school in September 2017 librarian boards

The University was named the second best performing school in the September 2017 licensure examination for librarians, results showed by the Professional Regulation Commission.

UST garnered a 90 percent passing rate, wherein 27 out of 30 Thomasians made the cut. This is lower than last year’s 94.44 percent, in which 51 out of 54 passed the examination.

Thomasian Apolonio Patron topped this year’s board examination with a score of 90.85 percent.

Two other Thomasians made it also in the top ten highest scorers.

Pauline Espiritu shared the sixth spot with Michelle Anne De Leon of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman. They both received a score of 88.25 percent.

Justine Joy Genton placed ninth after earning a score of 87.95 percent.

UP Diliman was named the best performing school with a perfect passing rate.
