UST improves in the November 2017 civil eng’g boards

The University posted a higher passing rate in the November 2017 licensure exam for civil engineers, with one Thomasian making it in the roster of ten highest scorers.
UST garnered an 86.88 percent passing rate, wherein 192 out of 221 Thomasian examinees made the cut. This an improvement from last year’s 85.98 percent, in which 184 out of 214 passed the exam.
Christian Angeles Gonzales was the lone Thomasian in the top ten. He landed in the ninth place with a score of 95.20 percent.
Gonzales shared the spot with Louie Jay Cabunoc of Ateneo de Davao University and Lance Joseph Esquejo of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
The University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD)remained as the top performing school with a passing rate of 97.41 percent.
Meanwhile, Nikho Lawrence Corres of UPD led the new batch of civil engineers.
According to results of Professional Regulation Commission, 6,075 out of 12, 447 examinees nationwide passed the board exam.
