UST houses topnotchers in December 2022 PT, OT boards

Eleven Thomasians topped the recent Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist (PT-OT) board, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
In the PTLE, Thomasians Terence Mattheu Buico and John Michael Ramos landed on the sixth spot both with an 88.05 mark, while Therese Daniela Manaloto posted 87.45 percent securing the tenth spot.
UST was hailed as the second top-performing school in the December 2022 physical therapist boards after posting a 95.16 percent passing rate. This was lower compared to its 100 percent rating last year.
Meanwhile, although UST failed to secure the top-performing school title in the December 2022 Occupational Therapist Board (OTLE), some Thomasians managed to snag top spots on the said exam.
OTLE Thomasian takers Alyssa Paige Ang secured the second spot with a score of 83 percent, followed by Reyna Medina in the third spot with a score of 82.80 percent.
Lareine Nava placed fifth with an 82.40 percent mark, Erick Christian Pelagio landed on the sixth spot with 82.20 percent, and Jillian Marie Eborde posted 81.80 percent, securing the eighth spot.
Hannah Isabelle Alidio, Kristine Leana Alunan and Gian Angel Arellano shared the ninth spot after gaining a score of 81.60 percent.
There are 1,186 passers out of 1,981 examinees for the December 2022 PTLE and 241 passers out of 484 examinees for the December 2022 OTLE.
The physical and occupational therapist licensure examinations were conducted in the cities of Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Pampanga last Dec. 1–2.
