UST hails as third top-performing school in LET secondary level

The University was named as the third top-performing school in October 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) Secondary level after garnering an overall rating of 97.01 percent.
Thomasian Lorenz Barro clinched the fifth spot with a score of 93.40 percent, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Saturday, Dec 17.
From the preceding 10 examinees in September 2021 LET Secondary level, UST produced 134 examinees with 130 passers in the October 2022 licensure exam for teachers secondary level.
The Philippine Normal University—Manila was hailed as the top-performing school at the elementary level and the University of the Philippines — Los Baños in the secondary level after posting a 95.12 and 100 percent passing rate respectively.
There are 49,783 passers out of 91,468 examinees in the elementary level and 71,080 passers out of 139,534 in the secondary level last October.
The teachers' licensure examinations were conducted in the cities of the National Capital Region, Antique, Bacolod, Baguio, Bohol, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Catarman, Cebu, Davao, Digos, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kidapawan, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Mati, Masbate, Occidental MIndoro, Oriental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pangasinan, Romblon, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tagum, Tuguegarao, Virac, Zamboanga, and Thailand last Oct 2.
