UST fails to clinch top spots in November 2022 civil engineering boards

After being named the fourth top-performing school in May 2022, the University failed to secure top spots in the November 2022 Civil Engineering Licensure Exam (CELE).

Results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Tuesday, Nov 29.

UST, however, posted 281 passers out of 309 examinees in the November 2022 CELE, from its preceding 165 passers out of 192 examinees.

Considering the current number of examinees, the University’s civil engineering boards passing rate decreased to 72.17 percent, previously at 85.94 percent in the May 2022 CELE.

Last May, Thomasian Carl Daniel Fabian landed at the third spot with 93.25 percent.

Carl Jervin Magtira of the University of the Philippines — Los Baños topped the November 2022 boards with a score of 95 percent.

The University of the Philippines — Diliman was hailed as the top-performing school in the November 2022 Civil Engineering Licensure Exams after posting a 95.45 percent passing rate.

The number of examinees increased to 20,407 with 8,029 passers in the November 2022 CELE, previously with 13,781 examinees last May.

The national passing rate for this month is 39.34 percent.

The examinations were conducted in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga from Nov.19 to 20.
