UST bags 4th consecutive School of the Year plum in Quill Awards

The University of Santo Tomas was hailed School of the Year for the fourth consecutive year in the 5th Philippine Student Quill Awards earlier today, July 5.
UST beat out De La Salle — College of Saint Benilde and Angelicum College of Quezon City for the top plum as they won second and third place, respectively.
The University claimed a total of 41 out of 99 merit and excellence awards.
Winning entries from UST came from the Communication Arts Students’ Association, the College of Fine Arts and Design, The Flame, Tomasian Cable Television and The Varsitarian.
Meanwhile, Bataan Peninsula State University won the Top Award for Communication Skills with “1588: The Guilds Literary Folio 2015–2016.” The Top Award for Communication Management was given to Benilde for “Komikwento.”
The Philippine Student Quill Awards is the junior division of the Philippine Quill Awards which annually recognizes organizations and corporations in the country for excellence in business communications.
Awarding ceremonies were held at the Mariott Hotel Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
The Philippine Quill Awards was organized by the Philippine chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, a network of business communicators in 80 countries advocating for professional growth, learning and communication excellence.
