Thomasians top May 2023 NLE as UST posts perfect passing rate

Two Thomasians secured a spot in the May 2023 Nursing Licensure Exam, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Saturday, June 10.

Thomasian Miguel Valencia shared the fifth spot with five other examinees from different schools, after posting a 90.60 percent passing rate.

Angelica Mae Salazar also landed on the eighth spot with an average of 90.00 percent.

UST posted a perfect passing rate in the May 2023 NLE after all of its examinees passed the nursing boards. Prior to the May NLE, the University also posted a perfect passing rate during the November 2022 examination.

There are 10,764 passers out of 14,364 takers in the May 2023 NLE according to the PRC.

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Angeles University Foundation, Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College), Bukidnon State University, Southern Luzon State University — Lucban (SLPC) were hailed as the top-performing schools in the board exam.

The nursing boards were conducted in the cities of Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan last May 28–29.
