Thomasians recreate ‘All of Us Are Dead’ in Halloween photoshoot

Senior students from the College of Fine Arts & Design (CFAD) recreated some scenes from the popular zombie K-drama All of Us Are Dead for Halloween inside the campus grounds.
They cosplayed as the series’ characters and edited their raw shots to mimic the original scenes from the show during their block’s limited face-to-face classes last Oct. 21.
Huili Chua dressed up as Park Mi-jin, Jason Abraham as Lee Cheongsan, Erica Cotoco as Choi Nam-ra, Patricia Gallares as Lee Nayeon, Sophia Gomez as Nam On-jo, and Angelo Luigi Tan as Lee Suhyeok.
In an interview with TomasinoWeb, Gallares said they chose All of Us are Dead because “their [characters’] outfits were easy to cosplay, and with UST being the location, it was the ‘perfect’ theme.”
“We only used our mobile phones and a tripod as the main equipment to take photos. The costumes were mostly DIY,” Gallares added.
Chua posted their zombie apocalypse-themed shots in her personal Facebook account.
“May mga lumapit na security guards samin akala taga ibang school kami pero syempre may dala kaming uniform at ID,” she wrote in her post.
The original Facebook post has garnered more than 2,000 engagements since its posting on Monday, Oct. 31.
“Overall, we’re thankful that we get to share memories like this with each other, especially since most [of] our college years were spent online,” Gallares said.
All of Us Are Dead is a Netflix series about a group of students trapped in their high school as zombies invaded the premise. The show was released on Jan. 28 and topped the charts for being the most watched show until its third week with 113.24 million hours viewed in the seven-day period.
