TGR Armen showed the way for Teletigers Esports on LAN to notch a 3–1 victory against the University of Batangas (UB) Brahmans to reign supreme in the Alliance Games MLBB Finals, Sunday afternoon, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay.

In the Teletigers’ undefeated run at the Alliance Games, they leaned on TGR Armen’s comfort pick in Beatrix. Right out the gate, Armen gets a triple kill to open the map to allow Teletigers to push through the middle lane.

However, UB Brahmans pushed TGR to their limits as their star player in UB Lekyyy’s Akai stole the first lord away from UST, but the Espana-based squad responded with two picks on Lekyyy and PAUPAU’s Masha to keep UB at bay. It took Teletigers three lord pushes, but their late gank on PAUPAU while pushing through UB’s base is what sealed the deal for Game 1.

The warriors from Batangas responded with a dominant Game 2 performance as UB Oddik’s Vale was too hot to handle for TGR Chaos as he notched nine kills, two deaths, and 12 assists through 16 minutes of play.

University of Batangas was able to hold a sustainable front line with Terizzla and Franco picks for UB PAUPAU and Ross, respectively. UB was able to hold UST from its slaying prowess, with much focus on their main man, Armen, whose performance dipped in the second match.

It was a back-and-forth affair as the Teletigers were able to come out victorious in game three with a luminous lord steal from TGR Reme which heavily opened the map as they were able to finish off four turrets, two from the mid and two bot towers respectively.

Compared to the previous match were Lekyyy’s Thamuz proved to be the man that needed to be stopped, TGR took note as TGR Armen got the best of him, then wiped the rest of the Batangas-based squad. TGR Reme’s Karina freely killed the Lord en route to the championship.

TGR Chaos will go home P40,000 richer and the coveted Alliance Games trophy, as they were able to maintain their dominance from their online playoff matches where they cruised through against UB Brahmans and Ateneo’s LG Esports.
