OnlyThomasians: OSG announces return of in-person Paskuhan
By Ian Patrick Laqui
Paskuhan festivities will be back in-person after three years, the Office of the Secretary-General announced on Friday, Oct. 14.
The festivities will culminate with a concert on Dec. 19, 2022, which bears the theme “Pananabik, Pagbabalik, Panunumbalik.”
However, this year’s Paskuhan festivities are exclusively for Thomasians.
According to Secretary-General Fr. Louie Coronel O.P, the Paskuhan festivities, even the much-awaited Paskuhan concert, will only be open for current students, alumni, teaching, and non-teaching personnel.
The “Agape” or the start of the Paskuhan festivities will commence on Dec. 1 as the whole campus will be illuminated with Christmas lights after an evening mass.
A kickoff concert will also be held at the Plaza Mayor on the same date.
The University held its last in-person Paskuhan in December 2019, a month before the first reported COVID-19 case in the Philippines.
The Paskuhan festivities in the following years were attended by Thomasians virtually by watching the livestream from UST Tiger TV. — with reports from Justine Xyrah Garcia
