UST has begun releasing food stubs on Saturday, Nov 26. at the P. Noval Court in preparation for the upcoming Agape, the annual opening of Christmas lights.
Enrolled students can claim their food stubs from Nov. 26 to Dec. 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding Sunday and Wednesday.
“Dapat Friday pa ‘to nag-start, kaya lang may mga details na fininalize. So since nawalan ng isang araw […], in-extend na namin para ma-control natin ‘yong in-flux ng mga kukuha,” Head Property Custodian Aldin Lorrenz Chan told TomasinoWeb.
To get the food stubs, Thomasians must present the QR codes from their MyUSTe portals or their Student IDs to the personnel at the claiming booth.
Students are allowed to claim food stubs on behalf of their Thomasian peers given that they will present an authorization letter from the claimant, alongside their QR codes and IDs for proper verification.
Thomasians are urged to use their QR codes carefully as only one food stub will be granted to each enrolled student.
“‘Yung system natin dito, nire-recognize niya once the QR code has been used… So kung nagamit ‘yang QR code mo unknowingly, [tapos] pumunta ka dito, wala nang mabibigay na food stub sa ‘yo kasi one is to one lang,” Chan said.
Agape, the official start of the Paskuhan season, will be held at the University on Friday, Dec. 2. — with reports from Maxine Relucio
