35 Thomasians snag top spots in November 2022 nursing boards

The University perfected the passing rate in the November 2022 Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) with 35 Thomasians placing in the top 10.
Since 2015, UST has consistently notched a 100 percent passing rate in each NLE.
UST College of Nursing grad Jade Alexie Enriquez Aranda ranked third and led the latest batch of Thomasian nursing board takers with an 89.60 percent score.
The University was hailed as the top-performing school along with 18 other institutions.
This year, the University fielded 289 board takers which is a huge increase from deploying only 5 examinees in the May 2022 NLE.
Abigail Garganta Ramirez of St. Paul Dumaguete University topped this year’s exams with a rating of 90 percent.
The national passing rate for nursing boards rose to 74.40 percent (18,529 out of 24,903 examinees), previously at 68 percent (6,616 out of 9,729 examinees).
The exams were conducted on Nov. 12 and 13 at testing centers located in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
